REMEMBER YOU

“Remember You”

by: Jeremia Candra

                    How can I forget you,

when my home still whispers your name,

when my phone corrects every word

                    to yours,

and my mother wonders why I no

                    longer smile at my screen?

                    The memory of you,

                    haunts my soul

it keeps me up at night

It's all my heart can think of

                    as the day goes on,

I can't erase you from my mind,

your laugh your smile it's all,

                    saved in the bottom

                    of my heart.

If I lost every memory tomorrow,

you would be all that remained.

Cause you aren't just a memory,

you're a part of me that lives,

                    beyond the limitations

                    of memory.
